60-minute session | Private 1:1 West Cheshire | Preston | Southport EAP offers a powerful, trauma-informed approach for children and young people who may be struggling with their emotional wellbeing, mental health, relationships, confidence, or day-to-day functioning.

Working alongside horses in a safe and supportive outdoor environment, young people can explore thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and experiences in a way that often feels more accessible than traditional talking therapies. No riding is involved. Sessions are ground-based and carefully facilitated to support emotional growth, self-awareness, regulation, communication, and resilience.

This one-off therapeutic session is ideal for children and young people experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, trauma, loss, attachment difficulties, low self-esteem, school avoidance, autism, ADHD, or challenges with social relationships.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy can be particularly valuable for young people who find it difficult to engage in traditional therapy settings and benefit from a more experiential, relational, and nature-based approach.

For young people requiring a deeper level of therapeutic support, including those with an EHCP, Looked After Children (LAC), children with complex needs, or those requiring ongoing intervention, please contact Jackie directly to discuss individual requirements and appropriate support options.
