You may look like you're coping on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. You may find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships, struggling with self-worth, experiencing anxiety, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, or feeling like you're constantly in survival mode.

These experiences are often rooted in earlier life experiences, including complex trauma, attachment wounds, or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

Online psychotherapy provides a safe and supportive space to explore the impact of these experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and your emotional world.

You may be experiencing:

  • Anxiety, chronic stress, or hypervigilance

  • Low self-esteem or feelings of not being good enough

  • Difficulties trusting others or maintaining relationships

  • People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries

  • Emotional overwhelm, shutdown, or numbness

  • Persistent self-criticism and shame

  • Relationship patterns that leave you feeling unseen or unsafe

  • Childhood trauma or difficult family dynamics

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself, your needs, or your emotions

  • A sense of being stuck despite years of personal development work

As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches to tailor therapy to your individual needs. My work is particularly informed by attachment theory, trauma-informed practice, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work, somatic approaches, nervous system regulation, and relational psychotherapy.

Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we explore the deeper patterns and protective strategies that developed to help you survive difficult experiences. Together, we work to understand these parts of yourself with curiosity and compassion rather than judgement.

Somatic and body-based approaches help you recognise how trauma is held within the nervous system, supporting greater emotional regulation, safety, and connection. Parts work helps you understand conflicting thoughts, emotions, and behaviours so that different aspects of yourself can be heard, understood, and integrated.

Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about helping you understand yourself more fully, heal what no longer serves you, and create new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Based near Appley Bridge, Wigan, I provide online psychotherapy for adults across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and the wider UK. I specialise in supporting clients experiencing the effects of complex trauma, attachment trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation.
